Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with proven experience in the UAE interior fit-out industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather data and validate pricing.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing for materials and services.
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope, verify quantities, and identify potential cost impacts.
• Evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
• Participate in tendering processes and assist in bid preparation and submission.
• Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost without compromising on quality.
• Support project handover and track estimation accuracy against actual project costs.
• Maintain a database of historical costs and vendor prices for future reference.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of UAE experience in estimation within the interior fit-out industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of local market rates, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,800.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Estimation in Interiors Fitouts: 2 years (Required)
