Estimation Engineer – Lighting

Light & Lives is looking for an Estimation Engineer – Lighting to join our growing team in Dubai. We’re a young, creative lighting solutions company working across residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimations for lighting projects based on BOQs, drawings, and specifications.
• Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, lead times, and technical details.
• Review tender documents and ensure all requirements are covered in the proposal.
• Collaborate with the design, sales, and project teams to ensure technical and commercial alignment.
• Maintain a database of supplier pricing and product information.
• Assist in value engineering and suggest suitable product alternatives when required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in lighting estimation (preferably in the UAE or GCC).
• Strong knowledge of lighting brands, products, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and Dialux/Relux.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
