Estimation Engineer

We are looking for an Estimation Engineer- Female (Civil) who is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction and civil engineering projects. This includes analyzing project requirements, evaluating technical specifications, and coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the project aligns with budget and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including material, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand scope and requirements.
• Identify cost-effective solutions and alternatives to meet project budgets.
• Bid Preparation:
• Develop and submit competitive tenders, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
• Collaborate with the sales and project teams to determine pricing strategies.
• Quantity Take-Offs (QTO):
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs from project drawings and specifications.
• Ensure accurate measurement and documentation of all project components.
• Market Analysis:
• Conduct market research to gather pricing information for materials, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain a database of updated costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Risk Analysis:
• Identify potential project risks and factor them into the cost estimation process.
• Propose mitigation strategies to address project challenges.
• Coordination & Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and consultants to finalize project scopes and budgets.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain quotations and ensure alignment with project needs.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed estimation reports and cost breakdowns for stakeholders.
• Maintain records of all estimations, tenders, and related correspondence.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in cost estimation or a similar role in the construction or civil industry.
• Experience with construction software and estimation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market rates.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
