Estimation Engineer

Estimation & Costing

• Prepare accurate project estimates based on drawings, BOQs, and production requirements
• Cost materials, fabrication, labor, installation, logistics, and outsourcing
• Support sales / BD with pricing and cost clarifications
• Prepare estimation sheets before quotation approval

BOQ & Quantity Take-Off

• Prepare BOQs and quantity take-offs from approved drawings
• Identify scope gaps and flag cost risks early
• Handle variations and additional works costing

Drawing & Technical Understanding

• Read and interpret design, shop, and fabrication drawings
• Coordinate with Design and Production teams to resolve technical clarifications
• Understand materials, finishes, joinery, metal works, signage, and site requirements

Procurement Coordination

• Assist procurement in vendor enquiries and price comparisons
• Evaluate supplier quotations and recommend cost-effective options
• Support value engineering without compromising quality

Cost Control & Reporting

• Track estimated vs actual project costs
• Highlight cost overruns and suggest corrective actions
• Coordinate with Accounts for project-wise profitability tracking.
