Estimation Engineer and AutoCAD Specialist male/ female

Required Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, modify, and update detailed 2D shop drawings, layout plans, and schematic diagrams using *AutoCAD*
• Incorporate revisions and markups from project managers, site engineers, and clients into existing drawings promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to standard drafting protocols, layer management guidelines, and company templates.
• Maintain and organize the digital drawing registry, ensuring all revisions are properly tracked and archived.
• Review tender drawings and specifications to assist the senior team in understanding the baseline project scope.
• Perform detailed and precise material take-offs (counting and measuring quantities for materials, labor, and equipment).
• Assist in compiling data to prepare *Bills of Quantities (BOQ)* and commercial estimates using standard spreadsheets.
• Reach out to subcontractors and suppliers to gather material quotes, compile pricing sheets, and follow up on lead times.
• Help prepare documentation for final tender and bid submissions.
• Education:* Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• * *Experience:* 2–5 years of hands-on experience in technical drafting and/or quantity estimation within the construction or engineering industry.
• * *Technical Skills:*
• * Strong working proficiency in *AutoCAD (2D)*.
• * Solid proficiency in *MS Excel* for data entry, basic formulas, and organizing pricing sheets.
• * Ability to read and accurately interpret blue prints, architectural drawings, and engineering symbols.
• * Familiarity with digital take-off software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam) is an advantage but not mandatory.
