Job Title : Estimation Engineer

Department : Cold Room Division

Reporting to : Sales Manager – Cold Chain Division

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 Heat Load Calculation, Selection of Compressors, Condensing Units, Air Cooled &

Evaporative Condensers, Evaporators, Refrigeration Valves & Controls, Pipes &

Fitting etc.

 Defining scope of works as per Tender, RFQ etc.

 Cost estimation for Commercial and Industrial Refrigeration Projects

 Communicating & Negotiating with the Prncipals, Suppliers, Contractors.

 Preparation of PI&D & Shop Drawings with CAD Engineer and Preparation of

Material Approval Sheets (MAS) & Submittals for Approvals

 Conform to ISO 9001:2008 requirements as applicable.

Skills:

 Should have the knowledge of Principle of Commercial & Industrial

Refrigeration System

 Should have the knowledge of Heat Load Calculation, Selection of equipments

such as Condensing Units, Evaporator, Controls & Valves , Pipes & Fitting etc

 Knowledge of Electrical & Automation System for Refrigeration Project is an

added advantage

 Should have good Communication and Interpersonal relationship skills.

Experience:

 3 to 4 years experience in Cold Room / Refrigeration Industry in Contracting

company or Trading Company as Estimation Engineer

Education:

 Should have passed the B.E in Mechanical Engineering

 Post Diploma / Certificate Course / Elective subject as Refrigeration & air conditioing is an added advantage.
