Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare detailed estimates.
• Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs for projects.
• Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare BOQs, cost breakdowns, and pricing sheets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks in project proposals.
• Maintain updated cost databases and historical pricing records.
• Coordinate with the project team to ensure estimates align with project goals.
• Prepare and submit quotations/tenders within deadlines.
• Attend meetings, site visits, and clarifications when required.
• Assist in value engineering and proposal development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in joinery, fit-out, construction, or related industry.
• Strong understanding of materials, pricing, and industry standards.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and estimation software (e.g., Excel, AutoCAD etc.).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in joinery and fit-out estimation.
• Knowledge of local suppliers and market pricing.
