Estimator

We are hiring a Construction Estimator to support a busy fencing operation serving the Albany region, based in Colonie, New York. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a detail-driven professional with experience pricing commercial and residential construction work. The Estimator will develop competitive bids, perform quantity takeoffs, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless project transitions from proposal to execution. This role plays a key part in maintaining accuracy, profitability, and efficiency across projects throughout Colonie, New York and surrounding communities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Analyze blueprints, site plans, and specifications to determine project scope and material requirements.
• Generate precise quantity takeoffs for fencing materials, hardware, and related components.
• Calculate labor, equipment, subcontractor, and overhead costs to build complete bid proposals.
• Prepare and organize bid packages, ensuring all documentation is complete and submitted on time.

• Partner with the sales team to review revisions and respond to client questions during the bidding phase.
