Estimator - Interior Joinery Fit-Out / Draftsman

We are a growing, quality-driven joinery and fit-out company specializing in high-end residential, retail, and commercial interiors. As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Estimator to join our technical team.

Role Overview:

The Joinery Project Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, materials, and labor for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of joinery processes, and the ability to read and produce detailed AutoCAD drawings to support the estimation process.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

· Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs).

· Source and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for materials and services.

· Analyze and compare pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

· Prepare project cost breakdowns and tender submissions.

· Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to clarify project requirements.

· Maintain and update cost databases and pricing libraries.

· Support value engineering and project budgeting processes.

Requirements and Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery or Fit-out Estimator.

· Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes.

· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD)Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Proficient in AutoCAD (reading and drawing).

· Strong communication and negotiation abilities.

· Previous experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality joinery projects.

· Knowledge of local suppliers and material costs.
