Estimator Marine

Position: Marine Estimator
Location: Kochi
Experience: 2–3 Years
Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Marine Estimator with experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or related marine engineering projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and supporting tendering and bidding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for marine and shipyard projects.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Evaluate material, labor, and equipment requirements.
• Liaise with engineering, procurement, and project teams to gather relevant data.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare and submit cost breakdowns and tender documentation.
• Assist management in price negotiations and bid finalization.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Marine/Shipbuilding Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in estimation within the marine or shipyard industry.
• Strong knowledge of ship repair and fabrication processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, estimation tools, and reading technical drawings.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
