Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare accurate quantity take-offs.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out works, including civil, architectural finishes, MEP, and joinery.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and submit competitive tender proposals, including technical and commercial bids.
• Participate in value engineering exercises to provide cost-saving solutions.
• Maintain and update cost databases and unit rates.
• Liaise with the design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure alignment on project scopes and costs.
• Attend pre- and post-tender meetings, site visits, and client briefings when required.
• Track and analyze project costs and contribute to budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B. Tech Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior fit-out estimation.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, MEP systems, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in estimation software such as PlanSwift, AutoCAD, Excel, or similar tools.
• Excellent mathematical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of local market rates and supplier networks.
