Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Interior, Landscape & General Contracting)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in interior fit-outs, landscaping, and general construction. The ideal candidate will not only excel at cost estimation and tender preparation but will also bring operational insight to help bridge the gap between commercial planning and site execution.

Key Responsibilities: Prepare comprehensive and accurate cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), and tender documents for interior fit-out, landscape, and general contracting projects.

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and requirements to determine precise material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Prepare and manage interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Identify, price, and negotiate variation orders and track project expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
• Collaborate closely with the site and engineering teams to ensure commercial viability and operational efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience working as an Estimator and Quantity Surveyor specifically within the interior fit-out, landscaping, and general contracting sectors in the UAE.
• Strong proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills (Standout Candidates): Operations Experience: Previous experience working as an Operations Engineer or site-based project coordinator. The ability to understand site logistics, project phasing, and execution challenges is highly desirable.

• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with modern business management software. Experience with ERP systems (specifically Odoo) for project tracking and procurement is a significant advantage.
• Multi-Disciplinary Knowledge: Broad understanding of AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) works, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and aluminum/glass works.
