Cost Control Engineer

Job Brief

Are you experienced in construction cost control, project budgeting, and financial management and hold an engineering degree, then you are the candidate we are looking for.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Control Professional to join a leading construction organization. You will be responsible for managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, supporting procurement processes, and ensuring cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets and detailed cost plans.
• Monitor project expenditures and track costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections, and financial analyses.
• Analyze variances between planned and actual costs and recommend corrective actions.
• Support tendering and procurement processes with cost evaluations.
• Review and verify subcontractor invoices and payment applications.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, financial policies, and internal procedures.
• Prepare and present monthly cost reports to senior management.
• Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
• Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering,
• 3 years of experience in cost control within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost reporting.
• Good understanding of construction contracts and commercial terms.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software.

Salary : AED 6000 - 8000/Month
