Job Title: Estimation Lighting Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Estimation Lighting Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate lighting estimations, technical proposals, BOQs, and cost calculations for lighting projects across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and tender documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Prepare lighting BOQs, quotations, and technical submittals.
• Select suitable lighting fixtures based on project requirements, lux level calculations, and client needs.
• Work closely with the sales team to support pricing strategies and project proposals.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain updated prices, technical data, and lead times.
• Perform lighting calculations using Dialux / or similar software.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC, EN, local authority codes).
• Prepare value engineering options when needed.
• Support the project team during clarifications and post-tender discussions.
• Maintain an organized database of lighting products, pricing, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Lighting Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in lighting estimation or lighting design.
• Proficiency in Dialux / Relux, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of lighting standards, fixture types, controls, and application design.
• Excellent analytical and cost estimation skills.
• Strong communication and technical reporting abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCC projects (UAE, KSA, etc.).
• Familiarity with lighting controls (DALI, DMX, KNX).
• Knowledge of architectural and landscape lighting.
