Job Description & Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Cloud Migration Engineer to join our team in Cairo. The
successful candidate will have more than 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud and
infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on migrating servers, databases, and
applications to modern cloud environments.
You will support client transformation programs across the global network of PwC,
collaborating with teams in the UK, Germany, and the Middle East.
This role involves executing cloud migration projects across major cloud providers such as
Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, applying best practices to ensure
performance, security, and operational excellence throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute cloud migrations for servers, databases, and applications

• Perform lift - and - shift, re - platforming, and selective modernization

• Use migration tools and scripts to move workloads

• Validate migrated workloads for performance, security, and reliability

• Troubleshoot migration issues and optimize post - migration systems

• Document migration steps and outcomes

• Work closely with application and platform teams

• Required Skills & Experience:

• 3 – 6 years in cloud or infrastructure engineering

• Hands - on experience with AWS or Azure

• Migration tools: Azure Migrate, AWS DMS, CloudEndure

• Windows and Linux administration

• Networking and hybrid connectivity (VPNs, VNET/VPC, routing)

• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Experience migrating enterprise applications or databases

• Exposure to cloud - native modernization projects

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 – 6 years of experience in cloud, infrastructure engineering, or systems

administration roles.

• Hands - on experience with at least one major cloud provider:

o Microsoft Azure

o Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Practical experience with cloud migration tools, including:

o Azure Migrate

o AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)

o CloudEndure

• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux system administration.
