Key Responsibilities for BI/Data Analyst Intern
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources.
- Data Analysis & Interpretation: Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies using statistical and analytical techniques.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel to communicate insights effectively.
- Database Support: Assist in database design, maintenance, and optimization.
- Algorithm Development: Support the development of models and algorithms for data analysis.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Compliance & Data Integrity: Ensure adherence to data governance and regulatory standards.
- Tools: Power BI, SQL, Python, Excel (advanced functions), Tableau.
- Concepts: Data modeling, ETL workflows, statistical analysis, and visualization best practices.

Optional: Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure), automation (VBA, Python scripts), and CI/CD for data pipelines.
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related fields.

Coursework or certifications in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, Power BI) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Effective communication for presenting insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Typically 8–12 weeks, often during summer or academic breaks.
- May include mentorship, hands-on projects, and exposure to real-world BI scenarios.
