ELECTROTECHNICAL Officer (ETO) in offshore WITH EXPERINCE ONBOARD DP 1/2/3 HEAVY LIFT, HEAVY CONSTRUCTION, DSV, PIPE LAY, CABLE LAY OR DRILLING VESSELS (DP TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDET to advise which experience is required during the selection process)


    RESPONSABILITIES: Responsible to the Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent for the safe and efficient operation of the vessels’ electrical, electronic and automation systems.
    Administrate the planned maintenance system for the electric, electronic and automation components of the vessel, including DP system (Dynamic Position system), integrated & automation system, navigation systems & power management system and all other electrical, electronic and automation system onboard assigned Vessel.
    Responsible to the Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent on all related electrical, electronic and automation drawings and line plans.
    Carry out electrical, electronic and automation equipment’s inventory on daily/weekly/monthly basis, and issue requisitions to Chief Engineer and DP Technical Superintendent accordingly.
    Carry out daily routine checks and inspections on all electrical, electronic and automation equipment.
    Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all electrical, electronic and automation equipment onboard assigned Vessel.
    Lead, Guide, Supervise and Manage the Team of Electrician’s – Marine and Electronic Technician’s – Marine onboard assigned Vessel.
  • Compliance to NMDC HSE standards as deemed and required for his rank

QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 05 years’ experience Sea-going Technician, of which 03 years with DP ETO License
