EV Service Technician – Road Sweeping Machines

Job Summary: Are you passionate about electric vehicles and field service work? Do you enjoy solving real-world problems and working on innovative green technology? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our after-sales team and support the service & maintenance of our Electric Road Sweeping Machines across various customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, and field trials of EV-based road sweeping machines.
• Conduct routine maintenance and breakdown repairs on EV components, including:

Battery packs (Li-ion/LFP)

Electric motors and controllers

Battery Management Systems (BMS)

Vehicle control units and sensors

Charging systems and connectors

• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults in the EV system.
• Perform safety checks related to high-voltage systems and ensure proper isolation procedures.
• Calibrate and replace sensors, fuses, contactors, and relays as required.
• Maintain detailed service records, diagnostics reports, and customer feedback logs.
• Support the R&D and product teams by providing field feedback and insights.
• Provide basic training to customer operators and maintenance staff.
• Ensure adherence to EV safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
• Manage tools, spare parts inventory, and timely documentation of field activities

Qualifications and Skills: Education:  ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering.

Experience:

• 2–4 years of experience in servicing electric vehicles, electric industrial equipment, or EV battery systems.
• Prior experience with EVs in commercial applications is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of EV architecture (battery, motor, controller, wiring harness)
• Battery Management Systems (BMS) and charging protocols
• CAN communication and diagnostic software tools
• Basic mechanical and hydraulic systems used in sweeping machines
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
