EV Training Manager - Customer First Department

BYD Pakistan, Mega Motor Co, is looking for a "Training Manager" in their Customer First Department.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive or equivalent)

Certifications in Electric Vehicles (such as EV Certification, Safety Standards) are highly preferred.

Experience:

8+ years of relevant experience in the automotive industry

Location: Karachi

The incumbent will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training programs on EV, PHEV, and ICE systems, including charging infrastructure, battery technology, and maintenance. This includes certifying internal and external personnel such as technicians, sales staff, and customer service representatives. They will also develop technical content such as manuals, training guides, and e-learning modules.

The role involves organizing hands-on workshops and simulations to provide practical experience with EV components like motors, inverters, and BMS. Further responsibilities include the assessing of training needs, identify skill gaps, and ensuring alignment with business’ goals. Keeping training content current by tracking industry trends, new technologies, and regulations is essential.

Strong technical knowledge of EV systems, diagnostics, and regulatory standards is required. The candidate must be skilled in delivering both classroom and practical training with excellent communication and instructional design abilities. Simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards is key to success in this role.
