We Let the Dogs Out is an established, professional pet care company serving Branford and nearby shoreline towns, and we’re hiring Part-Time Dog Walkers & Pet Sitters to join our team.

This is a year-round position for responsible, animal-loving individuals who enjoy working independently and providing exceptional care for pets.

We are especially seeking reliable team members available for weekday evening visits, which include a slightly higher pay rate for experienced, dependable caregivers.

What You’ll Do

• Walk dogs and provide enrichment visits
• Feed pets and administer medications when needed
• Ensure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for
• Write short visit updates and communicate with our team through our app
• Drive between client homes (reliable car required)

Who You Are

• A genuine animal lover with pet-handling experience
• Dependable, punctual, and able to think critically when working independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
• Tech-savvy and able to use mobile apps
• Available some holidays on rotation
• At least 18 years old and able to pass a background check

Pet CPR / First Aid certification is a plus (we’ll help you obtain it if needed).
