Job Title: Event Associate (Temporary)
Location: East Rutherford, NJ (American Dream Mall)
Employment Type: Temporary (September 19 – September 20, 2025)
Hourly Rate: $20/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking energetic, adaptable, and customer-focused Pop-Up Event Assistants to support a two-day brand activation at the American Dream Mall from September 19 to 20, 2025. The event will feature influencer livestreams, stage performances, product displays and sales, on-site raffles, and interactive activities. As part of the event team, you will help create a fun and welcoming atmosphere while assisting with product sales, guest engagement, and overall event operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with event setup and breakdown of displays, merchandise, and promotional materials
• Greet, guide, and engage visitors throughout the event space
• Distribute promotional giveaways and guide guests through participation activities (e.g., raffles, games)
• Wear mascot costumes for interactive guest experiences (if assigned)
• Introduce and recommend products, share brand information, and answer customer inquiries
• Operate point-of-sale systems for on-site clothing sales and process transactions accurately
• Support influencer livestreams and stage activities as needed
• Monitor event area to ensure smooth traffic flow, safety, and a positive guest experience
• Handle unexpected situations with flexibility and professionalism
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the event coordinator

Qualifications:

• Previous retail, cashier, or on-site sales experience preferred
• Experience in customer service or live events is a plus
• Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Able to adapt to different tasks and work in a fast-paced, open event environment

Working Conditions:

• Must be available for both event days, September 19 and 20, 2025
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• May require heavy lifting or carrying of event materials
• Comfortable wearing mascot costumes for short periods (if assigned)
• Event will be in an open mall atrium setting with high visitor traffic
