Event & Business Development Manager — The Juice Lab

Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Founder
Type: Full-time (availability on weekends & evenings for events required)

Role Summary

The Event & Business Development Manager will play a dual role in driving The Juice Lab’s growth across events, corporate partnerships, and sales channels.
This position combines strategic business development with hands-on event execution, ensuring that every activation, pop-up, and partnership strengthens The Juice Lab’s brand presence and bottom line.

The ideal candidate is both a strategic dealmaker and a dynamic on-ground operator — someone who can close a corporate wellness contract on a weekday and flawlessly run a branded pop-up at a fitness festival on the weekend.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Partnerships

  • Identify and secure new B2B opportunities across corporates, gyms, wellness centers, hotels, schools, and co-working spaces.
  • Develop and manage partnerships for corporate catering, bulk orders and branded activations.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals that align with profit margins.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on co-branded campaigns, sampling, and seasonal launches.
  • Report on sales performance, retention rates, and ROI of partnerships.

2. Event Management & Brand Activations

  • Plan, organize, and execute The Juice Lab’s monthly event calendar (e.g., Ripe Market, Dubai Run, Expo City, gyms, corporate wellness days).
  • Handle all event logistics — supplier coordination, staffing, set-up/tear-down, and compliance with Dubai Municipality/FoodWatch.
  • Manage event budgets, track profitability, and minimize wastage.
  • Lead and train staff on product knowledge, customer service, hygiene, and upselling.
  • Ensure brand consistency and visual presentation across all activations.
  • Capture on-site content and customer feedback for marketing and product improvement.
  • Prepare detailed post-event reports covering sales, costs, and learnings.

3. Financial & Operational Alignment

  • Own event and B2B P&L performance — revenue, margin, and cost control.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly sales targets; align with production and logistics teams.
  • Maintain accurate reporting on Excel for management review.
  • Ensure timely invoicing and collections for B2B clients.
  • Oversee booth assets, POS systems, and promotional materials.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years’ experience in F&B, events, or business development within the UAE.
  • Proven ability to generate sales and execute high-quality events.
  • Strong vendor negotiation, budgeting, and commercial acumen.
  • Understanding of Dubai Municipality/FoodWatch regulations for F&B events.
  • Excellent leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual Arabic/English preferred; UAE Driving License required.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM tools.

Compensation & Structure

  • Salary: Competitive; based on experience.
  • Incentive: Performance-based commission on events & B2B sales.
  • Benefits: As per UAE Labour Law (WPS-compliant), annual leave, health insurance after probation.
  • Probation: 3–6 months.
  • Work Hours: Fixed working hours from 9am to 6 pm from Monday to Friday.
