Event & Content Marketing Coordinator
- Location: Remote (with required travel during peak event season)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Compensation: $50-70K annually (based on experience, skills, and home location)
About Terra Education
Terra Education is the parent company of several leading experiential education brands, including:
- Global Leadership Adventures: Service-learning programs abroad for teens.
- Summer Springboard: Pre-college academic programs on top university campuses.
- Beyond Sports: International sports tours and leadership programs.
Our mission is to transform lives through travel, learning, and leadership. We thrive on creating life-changing experiences for students, and we’re looking for an energetic and versatile Event & Content Marketing Coordinator to help bring our story to more young people and their families.
About the Role
This is a unique hybrid position at the intersection of event marketing and content creation.
We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and creative professional who can:
- Confidently represent our brands at recruitment events, pre-college and summer programs fairs, conferences, open houses, etc.
- Consistently deliver high-quality marketing content across multiple channels.
- Step into leadership roles on campus during our summer programs.
The role is fully remote, so you are not required to live in San Diego, but travel is required during our peak events season (primarily December through April). In addition, you will spend 1–2 months each summer working in-person on-campus for Summer Springboard (for example, as a Campus Director or in another capacity based on need).
The selected candidate will be a member of the Terra Education marketing team, reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing, but will also have key lines of report to our Senior Copywriter, Directors of Admissions and various division heads depending on the project.

- This summer program staffing opportunity is based on need. We will activate you for a specific role as the need arises seasonally.
