The successful candidate for this position will be onsite at Goldin an eBay Company - Goldin is a high-end sports, trading card and memorabilia auction company that was acquired by eBay in 2024 and is based in Runnemede, New Jersey. This role is not eligible for Remote work.

Job Description:

Goldin is the leading collectibles marketplace, connecting culture, sports, entertainment, and history through some of the most iconic items in the world. As our brand continues to grow, we’re looking for an Events Coordinator who lives and breathes events and knows how to turn casual encounters into impactful experiences.

This role will support Goldin’s Event Team, helping manage weekly tradeshows while also playing a key role in growing our stewardship and niche events and audience.

This role reports to The Sr. Event Producer and will work from our Runnemede, NJ office. This individual will have a frontline role that helps connect Goldin clients and the collectibles they love.

How You Will Make An Impact:

  • Be creative, collaborative and able to function in a fast-paced ever changing environment

  • Support the promotion, and execution of all Goldin events and activations from end-to-end including setup, breakdown, guest engagement, networking and troubleshooting

  • Represent and uphold Goldin Auctions and our mission during forward facing events and all interactions with clients

  • Collaborate with our Content and Marketing teams for event related photo, video and marketing needs

  • Actively identify and develop opportunities to elevate brand awareness through partnerships with other high-profile organizations

  • Build and cultivate lasting relationships with vendors, tradeshow owners, clients, hobby enthusiasts and those closely associated with Goldin

  • Be flexible in your scheduling as this position will require occasional evenings, weekends, and extended hours as needed to support events and campaigns.

What You Bring To The Team:

  • 3+ years of hands-on work experience, preference given to those working in event production, coordinating events, supporting brand activations, or community based programming.

  • Have a degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Communications or other related fields; along with internship experiences

  • Have relationships within the event communities with the ability to continue to build and strengthen those connections.

  • Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality when working with high-profile talent, high-net-networth individuals and recognizable brands while maintaining high standards of execution.

  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail, and the ability to manage timelines, logistics, budgets, and follow-through execution

  • Have a professional presence with sound judgment when representing Goldin in public-facing environments

  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional departments, contributing to your team dynamic, comfortable working on committees and your also a strong independent worker

Other:

  • Have a genuine interest in auctions, sports, or collectibles and be passionate about creating dynamic event experiences.

  • Ability to adapt, demonstrate problem solving, and remain calm under pressure.

  • All candidates should have a valid Driver’s License, and regular access to an insured vehicle for attending events and transporting supplies; the ability to obtain a passport if needed.

  • Please be fluent in Microsoft 360, Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Email etc.) and have a working knowledge of Adobe products.

  • Position will be stationed in Runnemede NJ, 08078 Zip Code - Candidate should live with-in daily commuting range to the office.

  • Travel, will include being on location at events or Tradeshows as needed and for up to a week and include ground transportation and Air travel. Attendance at the National Convention is required and will be hosted in a different city each year - the timeframe is the last week of July through the first week of August annually

Additional Details

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:

$54,000 - $86,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
