Event Manager

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Role Purpose

Own the end-to-end planning and delivery of B2B/B2C events—conferences, product launches, partner forums, roadshows, exhibitions, and internal townhalls. Drive measurable outcomes (pipeline, brand lift, stakeholder engagement) while safeguarding budget, compliance, and brand standards.


Scope of Responsibility

  • Annual events calendar across UAE/GCC (owned, partnered, sponsored)
  • Event strategy, concepting, program design, production & logistics
  • Stakeholder management (leadership, sales, comms, product, HR)
  • Vendor ecosystem (venues, production houses, A/V, creative, staffing)
  • Budget ownership, ROI and post-event analytics
  • Risk, HSE, permits, and compliance with local authorities


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Build the annual events roadmap aligned to commercial and brand objectives.
  • Define event formats, target personas, attendance goals, content tracks, and success metrics.
  • Produce event playbooks, timelines, and run-of-show documentation.

End-to-End Delivery

  • Lead venue sourcing, contract negotiation, floor plans, stage design, A/V, registration, F&B, transport, accommodation, and VIP protocols.
  • Orchestrate showcalling, rehearsals, speaker briefings, and backstage operations.

Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Align with Sales/BD on target accounts, invite strategy, and meetings program.
  • Manage agencies, production vendors, exhibition contractors, and staffing partners; run RFPs and SLAs.

Budget & ROI

  • Own event budgets, POs, reconciliations, and cost controls.
  • Track ROI (e.g., cost per attendee/lead, conversion to opportunity, satisfaction scores); recommend optimizations.

Marketing Integration

  • Coordinate pre/during/post campaigns with digital/social/PR.
  • Oversee creative assets, signage, brand compliance, and on-site content capture.

Compliance & Risk

  • Secure all permits/insurance; implement HSE plans, risk registers, emergency procedures, and data privacy for registrations.

Data & Reporting

  • Maintain dashboards for attendance, lead quality, NPS, earned coverage, and budget variance; deliver executive debriefs with actions.

Team Leadership

  • Manage an events coordinator/s and on-site staff; build a bench of reliable freelancers and suppliers.


Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years in event management (corporate, agency, or exhibition organizer), including large-scale productions.
  • Strong GCC experience; UAE vendor/venue network is a plus.
  • Proven budget ownership and ROI reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and showcalling under pressure.
  • Tools: event/registration platforms (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Stova), CRM/marketing automation (HubSpot/Salesforce/Marketo), MS Office/Slides, basic design briefing.
  • Languages: Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Availability for evening/weekend events and regional travel as required.
