Job Summary:
Lead Big Bad Wolf’s Sharjah market with full accountability for event and operational delivery, including P&L ownership, project costing, budgeting, timelines, warehousing, logistics, vendor management, compliance, and performance reporting to HQ. This role will also oversee the multi-functional team, ensuring all departments operate effectively, in alignment with HQ standards and brand values, to deliver exceptional Big Bad Wolf events and ongoing market operations.
Job Responsibility:
Strategic Leadership & Market Oversight
- Translate HQ strategies into Sharjah-specific business plans with measurable KPIs.
- Lead, coach, and manage the Sharjah team, including Operations, Finance, Logistics, HR, Event Management, and Customer Service functions.
- Ensure functional leaders have clear objectives, resources, and support to deliver results.
- Serve as the face of Big Bad Wolf in Sharjah for stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
Financial Management
- Own the Sharjah market P&L, ensuring revenue targets, margin goals, and cost controls are achieved.
- Prepare and manage market budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections.
- Lead project costing for each event, including detailed breakdowns for venue, logistics, staffing, inventory, marketing, and utilities.
- Review and approve all major expenditures; ensure financial controls and reporting accuracy.
Event & Project Delivery
- Lead the full lifecycle of Big Bad Wolf events in Sharjah, from planning and permitting to execution and post-event reviews.
- Maintain and track event critical paths, ensuring all milestones are met.
- Oversee operational readiness, including venue fit-out, IT/POS systems, staffing, and inventory preparation.
Operations, Logistics & Warehousing
- Direct warehousing, inventory control, and logistics teams to ensure timely stock flow and event support.
- Optimize storage capacity, replenishment efficiency, and reverse logistics post-event.
- Ensure compliance with HSE standards for warehouse and event site operations.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee sourcing and contracting for major service providers in Sharjah.
- Negotiate cost-effective agreements while ensuring service quality.
- Monitor vendor performance against SLAs.
People Management
- Recruit, train, and develop Sharjah-based staff.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, set development plans, and manage team succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Compliance, HSE & Risk Management
- Ensure all Sharjah operations comply with local laws, labor regulations, and safety requirements.
- Oversee health, safety, and emergency response protocols for events and warehouses.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
Reporting & Communication
- Provide HQ with regular reports on P&L, event performance, operational KPIs, and market challenges.
- Maintain transparent and consistent communication channels with HQ leadership.
