Job Summary:

The Event Sales Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, managing sales team and driving revenue growth through the sale of event services. This role involves developing sales strategies, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction from inquiry to event execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate, government, and private event sectors.
  • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and present customized event proposals and quotations to clients.
  • Negotiate terms and close sales deals effectively.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales and planning process.
  • Ensure client needs are understood and delivered with high satisfaction.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

3. Coordination & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the event operations, creative, and production teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all event requirements are executed as per the client’s expectations.
  • Support marketing initiatives and attend networking events to promote the company’s services.

4. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and client communications in CRM systems.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.
  • Ensure all contracts and financial documents are completed and filed accurately.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in event sales or business development (preferably in the events industry).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong client service orientation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.

Job Types: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
