Event Technology Business Development Manager

As an Event Technology Business Development Manager, your primary function will be to perform solutioning and sales of various digital systems at over 1,000 events and campaigns that we support in a year. These events include marketing brand activations, product launches, trade show exhibitions, conferences, gala dinners and various others by corporates and government organisations. In addition, you will also be required to grow our presence in the Middle Eastern market.

You will do this by:

  • Sourcing for leads in the Middle Eastern market
  • Presenting our portfolio and demonstrating our suite of solutions in international client meetings (both over calls and in-person)
  • Responding to international sales and RFP/RFI queries using a consultative approach
  • Performing event technology solutioning through analysis of requirements, recommendation of appropriate solutions and collaboration with our operations team to validate technical details
  • Develop pricing packages for these sales inquiries
  • Setting up and manning exhibition booths at our event marketing efforts

While most of your work can be done remotely, you may be required to be present at some meetings and events in the GCC region, Singapore and other countries.

This is a full-time position that does not have an office, and has no intention for one in the near future. Working hours are not fixed but you are expected to be responsible for upholding agility, innovation and reliability in our business development.

Professional Experience

  • Sales/Business Development in Events or Technology: At least 3 years of consultative sales experience within an event-tech, SaaS, or digital agency environment.
  • Event Industry Familiarity: Prior exposure to MICE, corporate events, trade shows, brand activations, or experiential marketing.
  • Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of web/app development, event technology, interactive display hardware. Ability to discuss technical details with developers and event operations teams.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Consultative Selling: Strong listening skills, ability to ask insightful questions, and tailor recommendations to client needs rather than push a one-size-fits-all solution.
  • Presentation & Demo Skills: Comfortable presenting to event marketers, brand managers and event planners. Ideally, able to live-demo of our event technology web apps.
  • Solutioning & Proposal Writing: Experience outlining technical solutions, drafting RFP/RFI responses, and building customisable pricing packages.
  • Project Management: Able to juggle multiple proposals and leads in parallel, set realistic timelines (e.g., demos scheduled, proposal deadlines), and track follow-ups.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Works well cross-functionally with development, operations, and finance. Clear written and verbal communication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED9,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
