Dubai Asset Management maintains a substantial presence in Dubai with a leasing portfolio of 15 distinct residential communities, elevating the city’s global recognition as one of the most desirable and livable destinations worldwide.


Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for managing and executing marketing plan with a focus on three aspects - brand, commercial and community. which are in-line with TECOM’s respective commercial and industrial strategies. The role holder is responsible for planning and executing targeted marketing initiatives, campaigns, community and industry events aimed at promoting the respective brands, engaging the communities, attracting and retaining business partners to maximize business financial performance and return on marketing investment.


Responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy and Plans

• Support the Director of Marketing in developing and delivering the marketing plan & strategy, ensuring all aspects of TECOM’s marketing activities align with the ethos and objective of the brand.

• Support in the development of market positioning, competitive assessment, and customer segmentation and target customer profiling for commercial and industrial portfolios.

• Ensure inclusion and collaboration between all business units and stakeholders to align on overall marketing strategy for the commercial or industrial asset.

• Prepare and execute the annual calendar and plans of commercial and industrial marketing initiatives by liaising with other departments (sales and leasing).

• Coordinate with Strategy and Leasing teams in the acquisition and analysis of market research to determine target audiences and evolve the marketing strategy for the business units through all channels.

• Implement strategies to enhance customer intimacy, identify and leverage new revenue growth opportunities, and maximize profitability for each segment.

• Coordinate the development of brand compliant marketing collaterals – flyers, advertisements etc. through the Branding and Creative Studio team.

• Prepare and share the scope of work to ensure that all marketing projects commence with a robust written brief and approved budget and that all stakeholders are clear on the project deliverables and resources required.

• Plan and initiate community events and activations by way of events / exhibitions / trade shows to increase brand awareness and engagement with business partners.

• Develop key partnerships with authorities, business partners, various stakeholders that would add value to the brands.


  • Events – Planning / Execution / Operations

• Conceptualize unique marketing events and activations for TECOM commercial and industrial brands.

• Plan, manage and execute all events on-time related to commercial and industrial segment and co-ordinate customer management and interactions along with third party agencies.

• Work closely with the on-ground events team and third-party event managers to ensure brand related set up at events is in line with branding guidelines and is visually engaging.

• Ensure all required collaterals including prints, flyers, signages, banners, posters are ready and put up in the right places.

• Ensure all events and marketing activities follow the TECOM policies and procedures.

• Support in obtaining all required approvals and permissions from local authorities (Dubai Police, HSE, CID) are taken in time for the events. 2 Classification: Internal

• Evaluate all event sponsorship opportunities and ensure effective utilization of the marketing budget on relevant sponsorship events.

• Ensure events are promoted across all channels in a seamless and integrated manner.

• Prepare and share regular activity reports & analysis covering the events promotions and activities, ROMI, feedback and share with the right stakeholders.


  • Campaign Management

• Develop unique creative integrated campaigns (with commercial, community or brand focus) and utilize all channels (offline & online) effectively by working closely with internal and external teams to meet the desired (and pre-set KPIs)

• Review and sign-off campaign related content for emails, teasers, social media and other channels and ensure it is posted in a timely manner.

• Create post campaign summary reports that demonstrates how the projects marketing objectives were met to identify and improve gaps in the marketing processes.


  • Marketing Budget Management

• Support the Director of Marketing in planning and preparing budgets for commercial and industrial brand portfolio in line with the overall marketing budget for TECOM.

• Manage, maintain and track the approved annual budgets and ensure that there are no financial liabilities.

• Ensure at the year end the budget is not exceeded and there are no pending LPOs External


  • Agency Management

• Manage and develop relationships with third party marketing, advertising, PR agencies and event managers to ensure optimal and effective leveraging of capability to deliver cost effective marketing solutions for TECOM.

• Support in the selection and negotiation process with external marketing agencies to ensure they fit well within the TECOM standards.

• Monitor performance of external agencies and event managers to ensure they deliver within agreed timeframe and quality and branding standards.


  • Internal Relationship Management

• Manage the flow of information to the communications, digital & creative team to ensure that: - All websites, social media pages and related materials for commercial and industrial portfolio are up-to-date, secure, and delivers on commercial and creative requirements. - Communication messaging is in-line with the brand objectives and is clear, strategic and effective. - Continuous engagement with the communications and PR team to ensure all efforts are promoted. - Work closely with the Branding & Services function to utilize creative resources and continuously align on content, messaging and guidelines.

• Coordinate with other internal functions such as Security, HSE, FM etc. to acquire all event related approvals and to ensure that events meet all internal and external standards.

• Prepare comprehensive reports for the management that highlight the effectiveness of various marketing interventions (events, sponsorships, partnerships activities) for commercial and industrial assets.


  • Continuous Improvement

• Maintain a real-time understanding of the competitive landscape to help determine market positioning, competitive trends and messaging and prepare reports to be shared with the management.

• Stay up to date with developments in marketing tools, technology and techniques to implement them for TECOM to enhance user and customer experience for audiences.

• Suggest and make enhancements of TECOM’s various marketing channels based on stakeholder feedback and analytics.



Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR or Communications is required.

• Master’s degree in Marketing, PR or Communications is preferred.


Experience:

7-9 years of experience in marketing with at least 3 years in the Middle East is required.

Previous experience within a future-facing company or innovative large real estate developer operating in Commercial Property Management and/or Industrial Leasing preferred.

Strong knowledge across all marketing, advertising, social, digital and media aspects - paid media, social media, owned media, technology tools, backend, and tech related solutions.
