Events & Catering Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Events & Catering Coordinator to manage and execute catering services and events for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proven experience in the F&B and events industry. This role involves coordinating with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and the successful delivery of high-quality events and catering services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and oversee catering services and events from planning to execution.
• Communicate with clients to understand requirements, budgets, and event objectives.
• Prepare event proposals, quotations, and contracts in alignment with client needs.
• Liaise with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and quality food preparation and service.
• Arrange logistics, including venue setup, equipment, staff scheduling, and transportation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Manage on-site event operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and issue resolution.
• Track expenses, control costs, and ensure profitability of events and catering services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.
• Provide post-event feedback and reports to management for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Events Coordinator / Catering Coordinator in the F&B sector.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations, catering logistics, and event planning.
• Familiarity with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and event management software is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or related field preferred.
