Job Purpose

The Events Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of Modon’s internal and external events. Reporting to the Associate Director, Events & Sponsorship, the role ensures high-quality delivery of corporate ceremonies, employee engagement activities, industry exhibitions, and community activations. The Events Manager also manages vendor relationships and provides oversight of sponsorship activations, ensuring alignment with Modon’s brand standards and business objectives.


Roles, Responsibilities, Duties


  • Manage day-to-day planning and execution of internal and external events, including corporate ceremonies, staff townhalls, exhibitions, and community activations.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define event requirements and align deliverables with business objectives.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and project plans; ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, and suppliers, ensuring contracts, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Oversee logistics, venue setup, audio-visual requirements, guest management, and on-site coordination.
  • Support the management of sponsorship activations and partnerships.
  • Supervise the Events Associate, delegating tasks and reviewing deliverables.
  • Ensure consistent application of Modon’s brand standards across all event materials.
  • Track and report event performance, including attendance, engagement, budget utilization, and post-event feedback.
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement in event delivery and sponsorship ROI.


Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration.
  • Certification in project management or event management is an advantage.


Experience and Competencies:

  • 5–7 years of experience in event management, corporate communications, or marketing.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale corporate and government events.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and timelines under pressure.
  • Effective leadership and team coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic an advantage.
