The Role

The Event Manager will work closely with the Head of Events, supporting the event function across strategy, planning, creative development, and execution. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong operational skills with creativity, research capability, and a problem-solving mindset. You will be responsible for managing events end-to-end, supporting strategic direction, and independently handling multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced agency environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Head of Events in developing event concepts, formats, and experiences aligned with client goals and broader communication strategies
  • Conduct strong venue and supplier research, identifying unique, relevant locations for different event types (conferences, side events, private dinners, brand activations)
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and best practices to inform creative event proposals and formats
  • Translate ideas into clear event plans, timelines, and execution frameworks
  • Creative Development & Proposals
  • Create and support event decks, offers, and proposals for clients, partners, and internal use
  • Contribute creative ideas for event formats, activations, guest experiences, and storytelling
  • Work with tools such as Luma for event setup, registration, guest management, and communications
  • Execution & On-Site Delivery
  • Manage end-to-end execution of assigned events, from planning through delivery and post-event wrap-up
  • Coordinate logistics, run-of-show, staffing, registrations, and on-site operations
  • Act as a key point of contact on-site, ensuring smooth delivery and quick decision-making
  • Problem-solve in real time and adapt to changes while maintaining quality and professionalism
  • Budget & Vendor Management
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, and reconciliations across multiple events
  • Source, negotiate, and manage vendors (venues, production, AV, catering, branding, entertainment)
  • Ensure all suppliers deliver according to scope, timelines, and agreed standards
  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Work closely with PR, marketing, creative, and operations teams to align messaging and execution
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, partners, and suppliers
  • Support post-event reporting, insights, and learnings to improve future activations

Must Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in event management, preferably in a PR agency, Web3, fintech, tech, AI, or gaming environment
  • Strong experience with venue sourcing, research, and supplier coordination
  • Excellent research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under pressure
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in fast-changing environments
  • Collaborative team player who can support leadership while working independently
  • Understanding of Web3, fintech, AI, or gaming ecosystems is a strong plus

  • Agency experience
  • Experience creating proposals and client presentations.
  • Experience using event tools such as Luma (or similar platforms)
  • Familiarity with Pitch or Figma Slides
