Event Manager

Role Overview

EDGE Cycling is seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Cycling Events Manager to

lead the generation and delivery of group cycling hire bookings and cycling-based events. This

role is focused on building strong relationships across Dubai, creating demand through smart

outreach and marketing, and delivering memorable cycling experiences.

The role includes close collaboration with our sister company, Babblers Café, to offer integrated

food and beverage solutions for events where appropriate.

This is a field-based, outward-facing role. The successful candidate will not be required to work

daily from the EDGE Cycling retail location, but instead will proactively engage with potential

clients, partners, and communities to grow group bookings and event activity.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Bookings

• Proactively generate group cycling hire bookings through direct outreach, networking,

and partnerships

• Identify and engage corporate clients, schools, clubs, hotels, tour operators, fitness

groups, and community organisations

• Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through clear communication and follow-up

Event Planning & Delivery

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver group cycling events from initial concept through to

execution

• Work closely with EDGE Cycling operations to ensure bikes, equipment, routes, and

logistics are properly organised

• Coordinate food and beverage offerings with Babblers Café where applicable

Marketing & Promotion

• Drive interest through creative marketing initiatives, campaigns, and collaborations
• Work with internal teams to promote events via social media, email marketing, and

partner channels

• Maximise attendance and repeat bookings through structured follow-up communicationRelationship Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships across a wide range of networks in Dubai
• Act as a key point of contact for clients before, during, and after events
• Encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships

Key Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• Proven ability to network and build relationships across diverse groups
• Experience in events, sports, hospitality, tourism, or cycling-related roles is highly

desirable

• Commercially minded with a proactive, self-driven approach
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects at once

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
