We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Assistant Manager - Sea Freight to join our team. This role is crucial in driving growth, building client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new sales leads, negotiate terms, and close deals to expand the company's client base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify sea freight trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance service offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
  • Strong understanding of Sea Freight forwarding processes and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Business Developments in a Freight Forwarding industry: 2 years (Preferred)
