We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Assistant Manager - Sea Freight to join our team. This role is crucial in driving growth, building client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new sales leads, negotiate terms, and close deals to expand the company's client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research to identify sea freight trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to enhance service offerings.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to prospective clients.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of Sea Freight forwarding processes and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
