Events specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Events Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute high-quality events that align with the organization’s strategic objectives. The role is key in enhancing engagement, promoting initiatives, and delivering seamless experiences for internal and external stakeholders.



Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute corporate events, workshops, conferences, and seminars.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venues, catering, audio-visual requirements, and travel arrangements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand event objectives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage event budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Develop event materials, invitations, and communication plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate event success, gathering feedback and recommending improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, health, and safety regulations.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts related to events.




Core Requirements

  • 3–6+ years of experience in event planning, coordination, or management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, venues, and service providers.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality experiences.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related fields.
  • Experience working in semi-government or public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of digital event management tools and platforms.
  • Experience supporting corporate or large-scale events is a plus.


Languages

  • English: Fluent (written and spoken)
  • Arabic: Professional proficiency preferred
