Excavator Operator – Demolition & Site Prep

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly excavators. This role involves digging, grading, and paving tasks on various construction sites. The Excavator Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for various construction tasks, including digging, grading, and paving.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute excavation projects effectively.
• Utilize commercial driving skills to transport equipment when necessary.
• Operate additional machinery such as graders, water trucks, tankers, and bulldozers as required.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in horizontal drilling operations when needed.

Experience

• Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with excavators.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential for troubleshooting and maintaining equipment.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
• Experience operating graders, water trucks, tankers, and bulldozers is a plus.
• Previous involvement in horizontal drilling projects is advantageous.
