The Execution Lead is responsible for end-to-end execution of school infrastructure transformation projects at Client. The role ensures that every civil and construction activity is delivered on time,within budget, and at the highest quality standards, while aligning with CSR partner expectations,government approvals, and community needs. This role bridges planning and ground-level execution,converting approved budgets and architectural designs into safe, functional, and inspiring learningspaces for students.

Timely and high-quality execution of school infrastructure projects as per approved plans and budgets.

Effective coordination with architects, procurement, budgeting, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.

Risk-free, compliant, and safe school sites ready for handover with zero quality lapses.

Transparent reporting to stakeholders (CSR partners, government officials, school principals).

Continuous improvement of execution processes to optimize cost, time, and impact.

Key Responsibilities / Task List

Execution Planning & Site Mobilization

Translate approved project scope, drawings, and budgets into executable site-level plans.

Mobilize contractors, vendors, and materials to begin work on time.

Sequence activities (civil works, finishes, branding, electrification, WASH facilities) to minimize disruption to schooling.

Civil & Construction Management

Oversee civil works including classrooms, STEM labs, libraries, WASH facilities, and playgrounds.

Ensure structural integrity, safety compliance, and child-centric design adherence.

Validate finishing elements (flooring, furniture, painting, electrification) for durability and

usability in school settings. Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead cross-functional teams including architects, site engineers, contractors, and vendors.

Ensure alignment between design (Architect), cost (Budgeting Manager), and materials

(Procurement).

Resource & Vendor Management

Allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) effectively to meet timelines.

Ensure vendor/contractor performance meets agreed SLAs, BOQs, and quality standards.

Work closely with procurement to avoid stock outs, cost escalations, or vendor delays.

Risk & Compliance Management

Identify and address execution risks including local authority delays, community resistance, or

supply chain issues.

Ensure all construction activities comply with building codes, child-safety standards, and

environmental norms.

Prepare contingency plans to mitigate delays or unforeseen issues.

Quality Assurance & Site Inspections

Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications.

Resolve design deviations on-site in collaboration with architects and contractors.

Guarantee that final construction is functional, safe, and aesthetically aligned with US

school transformation vision.

Stakeholder & Partner Communication

Provide transparent updates to CSR partners, donors, and government officials on execution progress.

Coordinate with principals and school leadership to ensure minimal disruption to classes.

Support visibility by aligning with Communications teams for impact stories and project

showcases. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed execution logs, BOQ compliance sheets, site photos/videos, and progress reports.

Submit weekly and monthly reports to management and CSR partners.

Document lessons learned for replication and scaling across schools.

Project Closure & Handover

Finalize all site works, snag lists, and compliance documentation.

Ensure schools are handed over with complete “as-built” documentation, warranties, and

maintenance guidelines.

Collect feedback from school authorities and partners for continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

Architectural & Civil Execution Knowledge – Strong grasp of school-specific civil works, WASH

facilities, classrooms, STEM/Library setup, and finishes.

BOQ & Costing Expertise – Ability to validate quantities, materials, and rates to ensure

alignment with budgets.

Construction Compliance – Knowledge of child-safety standards, accessibility norms, and

environmental regulations.

Procurement & Vendor Management – Hands-on experience in managing vendor performance

and contracts.

Project Management Tools – Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent for planning

and monitoring.

Financial Oversight – Understanding of cost overruns, fund utilization, and financial

accountability in CSR projects.

Soft Skills

Leadership & Ownership mindset to deliver projects end-to-end.

Strong problem-solving ability for real-time execution challenges.

Effective communication with stakeholders across all levels (from contractors to government

officials).

High adaptability to dynamic field conditions and multi-location projects.

Strong time management to balance multiple schools/projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree (Mandatory) – Civil Engineering / Architecture / Construction Management.

Preferred: Experience in school construction, CSR projects, or educational infrastructure.

5–8 years of experience in civil execution, site management, or infrastructure transformation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

% of projects completed on time vs. planned timelines.

% of projects delivered within approved budgets.

Quality score of completed schools (based on inspection checklists & stakeholder feedback).

Partner satisfaction rating from CSR donors and government officials.

Reduction in rework/snag lists across projects.
