Role Overview:
The Project Risk Controller will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing project risk strategies to ensure effective identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting of risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project risk management plan aligned with corporate and project requirements, following industry best practices.
- Facilitate risk identification workshops with project stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Maintain and regularly update the project risk register, including qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
- Perform advanced risk assessments using tools such as Monte Carlo simulations, sensitivity analysis, and decision trees.
- Continuously monitor project progress and update risk profiles to reflect emerging and resolved risks.
- Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to define and implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Integrate risk analysis with project planning, cost estimation, and scheduling in coordination with planners and cost controllers.
- Prepare and present risk reports, including status updates, trends, and mitigation effectiveness, to senior management.
- Provide risk-related input to contract and procurement teams for vendor evaluation and claims analysis.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry-specific risk management standards.
- Deliver training and ongoing support to project teams on risk management processes and tools.
Engagement Duration:
Full-time assignment until project completion (estimated end date: 30 November 2027), renewable upon mutual agreement.
