Executive Assistant to CEO

About the Opportunity
CDC is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the CEO and assist with the coordination of multiple ongoing projects. With more than $500 million in active projects across local and out-of-state developments, this is a critical position that requires a seasoned professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional follow-up skills, financial aptitude, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. We are looking for someone who is loyal, professional, street-smart, and capable of managing competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level administrative support to the CEO.
- Assist in managing and coordinating multiple company projects and initiatives.
- Track deadlines, action items, and project milestones to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documents.
- Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements, and communications.
- Support financial tracking, budgeting activities, and project-related reporting.
- Assist with marketing initiatives and company communications as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between the CEO, staff, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure consistent follow-up on tasks, commitments, and outstanding issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, Operations Manager, or similar senior-level support role.
- Strong financial aptitude and comfort working with budgets, reports, and business metrics.
- Marketing experience or familiarity with marketing initiatives is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Outstanding people skills and professional communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a strong sense of urgency.
- Excellent follow-up and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software tools.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently.
