Executive Assistant to CEO

About the Opportunity

CDC is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and experienced Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the CEO and assist with the coordination of multiple ongoing projects. With more than $500 million in active projects across local and out-of-state developments, this is a critical position that requires a seasoned professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, exceptional follow-up skills, financial aptitude, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. We are looking for someone who is loyal, professional, street-smart, and capable of managing competing priorities with a strong sense of urgency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide executive-level administrative support to the CEO.
  • Assist in managing and coordinating multiple company projects and initiatives.
  • Track deadlines, action items, and project milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, correspondence, and other business documents.
  • Coordinate meetings, schedules, travel arrangements, and communications.
  • Support financial tracking, budgeting activities, and project-related reporting.
  • Assist with marketing initiatives and company communications as needed.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO, staff, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up on tasks, commitments, and outstanding issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Project Coordinator, Operations Manager, or similar senior-level support role.
  • Strong financial aptitude and comfort working with budgets, reports, and business metrics.
  • Marketing experience or familiarity with marketing initiatives is preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding people skills and professional communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent follow-up and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office and other business software tools.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently.
