Executive Assistant Intern DMCCLF

Position Overview

The Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Executive Assistant Intern to support the Executive Vice President of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and President of the Leadership Foundation, as well as the Manager of Alumni Engagement & Fundraising.

This 12-14 week internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting senior leadership within a nonprofit and civic leadership organization. The intern will assist with scheduling, board coordination, communications, and program support while learning how leadership initiatives and nonprofit operations function at an executive level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to senior leadership
  • Manage calendars and coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with planning and coordination of Board of Directors meetings, including preparing materials, tracking attendance, and documenting action items
  • Develop and format executive presentations and meeting materials
  • Support travel coordination and expense reporting
  • Assist with executive correspondence and communications
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for Leadership Foundation programs and initiatives
  • Maintain organized records, documents, and program metrics
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student studying business, nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work independently

Hours: 15-20 hours/week

Duration: 14 weeks

Hourly rate: 19.23/hour
