9:00 AM – 5:00 PM with flexibility
Compensation:
$100,000–$140,000 base (DOE) + discretionary bonus
The Opportunity
A global venture capital firm is seeking an experienced
Executive Assistant / Office Manager
to support one of their Partners while overseeing the day-to-day operations of our New York office.
The Office Management component is maintenance-focused — systems and vendors are already in place.
This is an ideal opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented EA who enjoys high-level support, light operations, and working in a fast-moving but relaxed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support

Provide high-level administrative support to Partner, including:

Calendar management and meeting coordination

Domestic and international travel planning

Expense management
-
Light backup support to an additional executive

Handle occasional personal support requests
Office Management

Oversee day-to-day operations of the NYC office

Manage vendor relationships (IT, cleaning, snacks, security, etc.)

Maintain office and equipment inventory

Greet guests and coordinate meeting logistics
Projects & Events

Support internal and external events as needed (venue sourcing, vendors, on-site coordination)

Assist with special projects such as research, policy documentation, filing, and software evaluation

Qualifications

2–5+ years
of experience as an Executive Assistant

Financial services background strongly preferred (VC, PE, hedge fund, banking); tech backgrounds also considered
-
Based in NYC and able to work onsite Monday–Thursday

Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with senior executives, founders, and investors

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership

High ethical standards and discretion
