Executive Chef

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen operations, and menu development, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Duties

  • Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation, including food production, food service management, and catering activities
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while respecting dietary restrictions and nutritional guidelines
  • Supervise kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to ensure a motivated and efficient team
  • Oversee inventory management and control to minimize waste, optimize food costs, and maintain proper stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations across all kitchen areas
  • Coordinate banquet and event catering services, ensuring timely preparation and exceptional presentation
  • Monitor food handling practices and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in line with industry regulations
  • Manage kitchen equipment maintenance and oversee cooking techniques to uphold quality standards in fine dining environments

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Extensive background in food production, menu planning, and culinary arts with a focus on fine dining or upscale cuisine
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing diverse culinary teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong knowledge of dietary department practices, including accommodating special dietary needs and dietary restrictions
  • Experience with banquet operations, catering services, and large-scale food service management
  • Skilled in inventory control, food handling procedures, and kitchen management systems
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of motivating teams to achieve operational excellence in the food industry

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
