Executive chef (Fillipino cuisines)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Executive Chef specializing in authentic and modern Filipino cuisine. The Executive Chef will oversee all kitchen operations, menu development, food quality, staff management, and cost control while delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of Filipino culinary traditions, and experience managing high-volume kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop authentic and contemporary Filipino menus
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and food preparation
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and consistency
  • Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff
  • Control food costs, inventory, purchasing, and waste management
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Create seasonal specials and innovative dishes
  • Coordinate with restaurant management on promotions and events
  • Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and operational efficiency
  • Manage scheduling and labor costs effectively

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef
  • Strong expertise in Filipino cuisine and regional specialties
  • Experience in fine dining, hotel, or high-volume restaurant operations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong knowledge of food costing and kitchen budgeting
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Culinary degree or professional culinary training preferred
  • Knowledge of international cuisine is an advantage
  • Fluent English communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1.00 - QAR2.00 per month
