Executive – Corporate Treasury

Job Title: Executive – Corporate Treasury


Role Purpose

The Treasury Executive will be a key driver in managing the company’s capital structure and banking relationships. This role focuses on the end-to-end execution of financing facilities (funded and non-funded), ensuring seamless coordination with financial institutions, and maintaining rigorous compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and other regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities


Banking Operations & Facility Management

  • Coordinate with banks for the execution of funded and non-funded facilities (Term Loans, Running Finance, Letters of Credit, etc.).
  • Manage the issuance, renewal, and cancellation of Bank Guarantees and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs).
  • Facilitate loan drawdowns and repayments, ensuring timely processing and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain updated records of banking charges, interest rates, and fee structures to ensure accuracy in bank debiting.


Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and manage comprehensive loan documentation
  • Handle the creation, modification, and satisfaction of charges (collateral) with relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure full compliance with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, including the preparation and timely submission of SBP-related statements.
  • Manage Joint Pari Passu (JPP) arrangements and inter-creditor agreements between multiple lenders.


Monitoring & Reporting

  • Coordinate periodic stock inspections and asset valuations as required by lending institutions.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of all banking facilities, limits, and expiry dates.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Legal, Accounts, Procurement) to align treasury activities with business needs.


Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (ACCA/CMA/MBA Finance preferred).
  • Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Banking, or a specialized Documentation role.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local banking regulations and SBP reporting frameworks.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing SBLCs, Guarantees, and Funded facilities.
  • Expertise in financial documentation and credit administration.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills for tracking facilities and preparing reports.


Soft Skills:

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing legal and financial documents.
  • Coordination: Ability to act as a bridge between internal teams and external banking partners.
  • Integrity: Maintaining high standards of confidentiality and compliance.
