Job Summary
Drive sustainable and scalable growth by leading strategic investments. Responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing commercial propositions, and driving customer acquisition and revenue growth. Leads bid management activities and manages key accounts by executing sales strategies, building partnerships, and tracking performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Investments & Strategic Growth

Identify, assess, and evaluate investment opportunities aligned with corporate strategy and growth priorities.

Shape identified opportunities and define potential commercial propositions

Develop and review business cases, including financial modeling, valuation, ROI, and sensitivity analysis.

Conduct feasibility studies, commercial due diligence, and risk assessments for new ventures, acquisitions, or strategic initiatives.

Support executive leadership and board-level decision-making on strategic investments through data-driven insights and recommendations.

Execute revenue growth strategies including cross-selling and upselling

Monitor performance of approved investments and ensure realization of expected value and strategic outcomes.
New Business Development

Oversee innovation initiatives across products, services, and business models.

Lead the development of new products, services, and commercial offerings from concept to market launch.

Translate market needs, customer insights, and industry trends into scalable, revenue-generating solutions.

Support pilots, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), and experimentation initiatives to validate ideas and accelerate innovation.

Develop and maintain innovation roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives and market opportunities.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
Sales & Account Management

Cluster customers based on segments, needs, and opportunity potential

Execute customer acquisition plans aligned with the defined opportunity pipeline and sales focus

Develop cluster account plans and revenue growth strategies for key accounts

Align sales focus and priorities with defined cluster account plans to strengthen account growth and retention

Execute account plans and sales initiatives to acquire and grow cluster accounts

Provide customer research support and report on identified opportunities, customer insights, and feedback

Develop and maintain strategic relationships with cluster accounts

Track sales pipeline performance and account development progress

Monitor and report progress on account strategy execution and revenue growth
Bids management

Identify and assess bid opportunities and define bid strategies aligned with commercial objectives

Develop bid proposals including technical responses, commercial models, and deal structures
-
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to prepare bid documentation and submission packages
-
Review bid compliance, pricing assumptions, and proposal quality prior to submission

Submit finalized bids and support negotiations to secure commercial agreements

Capture lessons learned from bid outcomes to improve future bid strategies and proposals

Years of Experience

12+ years of experience in investments, strategy, innovation, partnerships, or corporate development.

Proven experience in business case development, and strategic decision support.

Experience in managing partnerships, joint ventures, or ecosystem-driven initiatives.

Exposure to innovation, product development, or new venture creation is a strong advantage.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field.

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
