The role is designed for a hands-on executive who will lead the company’s financial and investment activities during an early growth and establishment phase.
The Executive Director – Finance & Investments will be responsible for structuring the financial foundation of the business, managing investments, returns, capital, and cash flows, and supporting strategic decision-making related to project selection and growth. The role requires strong ownership, practical execution, and comfort working in a lean, fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities:- Lead the company’s finance and investment function with full executive ownership.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and support the selection of financially viable projects.
- Build and manage investment models (IRR, NPV, ROI) for development projects.
- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and project-based financial planning.
- Price projects and ensure healthy margins and expected returns.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Develop budgets, monitor variances, and control costs.
- Manage relationships with investors and prepare clear financial and performance reports.
- Coordinate with banks and financing partners regarding facilities and funding structures.
- Establish appropriate financial governance and risk management frameworks.
- Support executive-level decision-making by linking financial insights with operational execution.
- Ensure clear financial separation between development activities and any other operational streams.
Requirements:- 12–15 years of experience in finance, investments, or capital-intensive, project-based businesses.
- Proven experience working within the Saudi market.
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Financial modeling and investment analysis
- Cash flow and capital management
- Feasibility studies and project evaluation
- Experience in real estate development or real estate investment is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- MBA or Master’s degree in Finance / Investment is a plus.
- Professional certifications are an advantage (CFA, CPA/SOCPA, CMA).
- Strong executive judgment and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to operate in a small, growing organization.
