The role is designed for a hands on executive who will lead the company's financial and investment activities during an early growth and establishment phase.
The Executive Director - Finance & Investments will be responsible for structuring the financial foundation of the business, managing investments, returns, capital, and cash flows, and supporting strategic decision making related to project selection and growth. The role requires strong ownership, practical execution, and comfort working in a lean, fast moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the company's finance and investment function with full executive ownership.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and support the selection of financially viable projects.
- Build and manage investment models (IRR, NPV, ROI) for development projects.
- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and project based financial planning.
- Price projects and ensure healthy margins and expected returns.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Develop budgets, monitor variances, and control costs.
- Manage relationships with investors and prepare clear financial and performance reports.
- Coordinate with banks and financing partners regarding facilities and funding structures.
- Establish appropriate financial governance and risk management frameworks.
- Support executive level decision making by linking financial insights with operational execution.
- Ensure clear financial separation between development activities and any other operational streams.
- 12-15 years of experience in finance, investments, or capital intensive, project based businesses.
- Proven experience working within theSaudi market.
- Strong hands on experience in:
- Financial modeling and investment analysis
- Cash flow and capital management
- Feasibility studies and project evaluation
- Experience in real estate development or real estate investment ishighly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance / Investment is a plus.
- Professional certifications are an advantage (CFA, CPA/SOCPA, CMA).
- Strong executive judgment and decision making skills.
- Hands on mindset with the ability to operate in a small, growing organization.
