Job Title: Executive Director of Business Growth
Role Purpose
The Executive Director Business Growth leads Cultural Assets Group’s mission to scale its impact through bold growth strategies, commercial ventures, and cultural innovation. The role is tasked with discovering, shaping, and leading initiatives that drive business expansion and transform creative ideas into commercially viable, investable opportunities. It involves working closely with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners to ensure Cultural Assets Group remains at the forefront of cultural and economic relevance.
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Executive Director is also responsible for attracting investment into Group-developed IPs, converting creative ideas into investable ventures, and building high-value partnerships. Engaging with venture capital, private equity, government, and semi-governmental stakeholders to secure strategic partnerships and financial backing, , lastly representing the Group at the highest levels with investors, cultural stakeholders, and government partners.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth & Expansion

Lead enterprise-level growth initiatives across cultural, experiential, and digital markets.

Design new business models and ecosystems that align with CAG’s vision.

Monitor global market trends to anticipate risks and opportunities.
2. IP Development & Commercialization

Spearhead development of original intellectual properties (IPs) with high cultural and commercial value.

Oversee feasibility studies, market validation, and launch strategies.

Ensure IPs align with audience needs, sustainability goals, and commercial viability.
3. Investment & Fundraising

Engage with venture capital, private equity, and government funds to attract investment into CAG’s ventures.

Present strategic and financial cases to investors and partners.

Negotiate and structure high-impact investment deals.
4. Partnerships, JVs & Acquisitions

Lead the evaluation of joint ventures, acquisitions, and ecosystem partnerships.

Build and manage relationships with government, semi-government, and private sector institutions.

Secure flagship contracts and partnerships that enhance Group positioning.
5. Subsidiary Growth Alignment

Collaborate with subsidiaries to ensure alignment of pipelines and growth strategies.

Support subsidiaries in commercial expansion and scaling their IPs.

Prevent duplication and maximize synergies across the Group.
6. Market Intelligence & Threat Analysis

Track market dynamics, competitive threats, and audience shifts.

Translate insights into proactive pivots and new opportunities.

Establish continuous feedback systems for data-driven growth decisions.
7. Representation & Advocacy

Act as the public-facing leader for business growth, representing CAG in high-level negotiations, forums, and strategic partnerships.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategic Innovation, or Creative Industries; Master’s/MBA preferred.

12+ years’ leadership experience in growth strategy, commercialization, or cultural ventures.

Proven success in attracting investment and managing large-scale partnerships.

Deep understanding of creative economy, public sector funding, and venture capital ecosystems.

Strong business modeling, financial acumen, and stakeholder management.
-
Fluency in Arabic and English required; additional languages a plus.
