Executive Editor - Central Desk Editing ( Media Sector / Bilingual)

Contribute to the execution of news content editing operations and ensure the quality of content as well as page layout in accordance with approved professional standards and the editorial policy of Etihad News Center. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as relevant guidelines, laws, and regulations in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

- Review journalistic materials and ensure the accuracy and clarity of information.

- Ensure the quality of journalistic content, edit it, and approve it for publication with necessary enhancements.

- Review headlines and introductions of topics or articles and rewrite or approve them for publication.

- Participate in verifying journalistic content, information sources, and images to ensure compliance with editorial policies and to avoid legal issues related to publications, media, or intellectual property rights.

- Final review of incoming newspaper materials or those from newspapers, magazines, press agencies, news agencies, or any credible sources to ensure clarity of intended meaning.

- Operational tasks include reviewing content quality, editing, and approving content for publication.

- Review headlines and introductions, rewrite where necessary.

- Participate in verifying content and ensuring compliance with policies to avoid legal issues.

- Final review of materials from various sources to ensure clarity.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in the UAE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED33,000.00 per month
