Role Summary:
The Executive – HR Generalist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring smooth execution of HR policies and practices across all functions. The role involves hands-on work in recruitment, onboarding, performance management support, employee engagement, and HR administration. This position is ideal for an energetic and people-oriented HR professional looking to grow within a mission-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding

Assist in end-to-end recruitment — sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and onboarding.

Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment documents.

Facilitate employee induction and ensure smooth integration of new hires.
2. HR Operations & Administration

Maintain employee records and update HR databases (HRMS – GreyTHR or similar).

Support payroll coordination by ensuring timely attendance, leave, and data management.

Assist in managing employee confirmations, transfers, and exits.

Ensure HR documentation and filing are accurate and up to date.
3. Performance Management & Training Support

Coordinate the implementation of the Performance Management System (PMS).

Collect, consolidate, and track performance appraisal data.

Support Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and assist in organizing learning and development programs.
4. Employee Engagement & Communication

Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and welfare programs.

Support internal communication efforts to promote an inclusive and collaborative workplace.

Help address employee queries related to HR policies and procedures.
5. HR Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.) under supervision.

Prepare HR reports and dashboards as required by management.

Support audits and ensure compliance documentation is maintained.
Key Skills & Competencies:
✔ Good communication skills in English and Kannada (both written and verbal).
✔ Strong interpersonal and coordination skills.
✔ Basic understanding of HR processes, labour laws, and HR documentation.
✔ Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and maintain confidentiality.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to HRMS tools (GreyTHR preferred).
✔ Positive attitude with a learning mindset and commitment to organizational values.
Preferred Qualifications:

MBA / PG Diploma in Human Resources or equivalent.

2–5 years of experience in HR Generalist or similar HR roles, preferably in a mid-sized organization.

Experience in the development / non-profit sector will be an added advantage.
